Jessica grew up in Louisiana and Texas. She studied for her undergrad in Sociology and Marketing at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. After moving to Los Angeles in 2003, she worked several years as a makeup artist in films, television, freelance and eventually as an account executive.
In 2010, she took her first Pilates class to get in shape for her wedding and was immediately amazed by how much stronger she felt. After taking class for 3 years, she decided she wanted to share this passion and help others in their quest for a healthier body. In 2013, she received her Pilates education in reformer, cadillac, mat, and Wunda Chair from Pilates Sports Center Encino. Since becoming certified she has taken continued education workshops in subjects such as, Scoliosis, pre and postnatal pregnancy, common problems of the spine, barrel, foam roller, bozu ball, advanced cadillac, and many more.
She loves to see clients that were once in pain, become healthier, stronger, and more comfortable in their daily lives. This, combined with seeing people become passionate and excited for Pilates is one of the most rewarding parts of being an instructor. Her southern charm, friendliness, and outgoing personality will help you feel at ease and look forward to every session!
